WELL DESIGNED AND MANAGED STAKEHOLDER INPUT AND ENGAGEMENT PROCESSES

Design and implement processes to identify and gather input from stakeholders, interest groups or the general public, including: targeted stakeholder meetings and workshops; public meetings;  and information gathering via surveys, interviews, and focus groups.

OUTCOMES FOCUSED ORGANIZATIONAL PLANNING

Work with organization leaders to tailor strategic planning processes to meet identified goals and objectives.

Conduct comprehensive program evaluations engaging all levels of staff and external stakeholders as needed.

EFFECTIVE AGENDA DESIGN AND MEETING FACILITATION

Work closely with meeting conveners to create goal-driven agendas and facilitate meetings designed to achieve desired outcomes.

LANDSCAPE SCALE NATURAL RESOURCES PLANNING

Work with resource managers, private landowners, non-governmental agencies and others to design collaborative, large landscape planning processes.

Use established Climate Smart Adaptation and resiliency approaches to inform landscape planning efforts. 

USE OF CUSTOMIZED DECISION SUPPORT FRAMEWORKS

Work with organizations to identify realistic goals and objectives in the face of uncertainty and design structured decision processes using tested methodologies such as Open Standards, Structured Decision Making and Scenario Planning that will help identify effective management actions to achieve desired outcomes.

ADVISE ON COMPLEX CONSERVATION POLICY AND MANAGEMENT ISSUES

Work with conservation agencies, non-governmental organizations and industry on identifying ways to navigate complicated conservation issues, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders.

 

Negotiate agreements with stakeholders including government agencies, communities, industry, Indigenous Peoples, recereationists and others on achieving beneficial outcomes for all parties.
